Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-05-23

These terms govern your use of mini-mecha.com (the “Site”) and the products sold through it. By creating an account, placing a reservation, or contributing to the operator archive (a feature of the Site), you agree to these terms.

Mini Mecha is operated as an Australian sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia (ABN 58 453 805 809). These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

1. The product

Mini Mecha sells numbered, finite-edition resin garage kits. Reservations are sold per numbered block within an edition. Once an edition is sold out, additional production is at the sole discretion of Mini Mecha and is not guaranteed.

2. Accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Mini Mecha may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or behave in a way that harms the community.

3. Reservations and payment

Payment is collected at the point of reservation through Stripe. Payment is non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy and to the extent required by the Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

Production lead times vary by edition and are stated on each unit’s manifest page. Lead times are estimates and may shift for production-quality reasons. We will keep you informed via the operator console and the email address tied to your reservation.

4. Shipping

See our Shipping Policy for region coverage, customs handling, and delivery timing.

5. Content you contribute

When you submit photos to the operator archive, you grant Mini Mecha a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, crop, and feature those photos within the Mini Mecha brand surfaces (the Site, social channels, marketing materials). You retain ownership.

You may not submit content that you do not own, that depicts third-party intellectual property without permission, or that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise contrary to community standards. Mini Mecha may remove any submission at its discretion without prior notice.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to harass other users, attempt to circumvent reservation limits or the workshop voting system, or submit fraudulent payment information. We use Vercel BotID and rate limiters to protect the platform; bypassing these is grounds for account termination.

7. Intellectual property

All site content, branding, and unit designs are the property of Mini Mecha or its collaborators. The operator-archive licence in Section 5 does not transfer ownership of submissions.

8. Consumer guarantees and limitation of liability

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or any equivalent consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction) that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the preceding sentence, Mini Mecha’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that reservation.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the operator console at least 14 days before they take effect.
