Refund Policy

Numbered resin garage kits are limited-edition products produced in small batches. We hold a reservation block for you the moment you check out — this policy explains when a refund is possible and what happens in edge cases. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (or any equivalent consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction) — those guarantees apply in addition to this policy.
Standard refund window
You can request a full refund of a reservation up to 48 hours after purchase, provided the unit has not yet entered the print queue for your specific block. After 48 hours, refunds are granted only for the cases below.
Production faults
If a kit ships with a print defect that prevents assembly, you are entitled to a free replacement (subject to remaining edition availability) or a full refund. Photograph the defect within 14 days of delivery and email us: operator@minimecha.com.
Cancelled editions
On rare occasions an edition is cancelled before production starts. In that case all reservations are automatically refunded to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Oversold or duplicated reservations
If a payment lands but no block can be assigned (typically due to a race at the moment a unit sells out), the reservation is refunded automatically and you are notified by email. See our operational runbook for the exact mechanics.
Customs and import duties
Customs and import duties are your responsibility as the importer of record. A refund is not granted for parcels refused or abandoned at customs.
Self-service cancellation
You can self-cancel a reservation from your console for the duration of the standard refund window above. Past that window, contact us: operator@minimecha.com.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe. Settlement timing is set by your bank or card issuer and is typically 3-10 business days.
Disputes
If you believe a refund decision was wrong, reply to the refund decision email or contact operator@minimecha.com before opening a payment dispute. We aim to resolve every in-good-faith case before chargeback.
